CCS Chemistry is an international academic journal in the field of chemistry independently founded by the Chinese Chemical Society, dedicated to publishing outstanding research results with real influence in the field of chemistry. Since its establishment in 2019, this journal has adhered to an open access publishing model, which includes free reading and free publishing, without charging any subscription or submission fees, in order to promote the widespread dissemination of chemical knowledge and academic exchange.

The scope of the magazine is extensive, covering various branches of chemistry, including but not limited to synthetic chemistry, catalysis, materials science, pharmaceutical chemistry, environmental chemistry, etc. The journal aims to become a platform for chemistry researchers to publish high-quality research papers, particularly encouraging the publication of original and novel research results. The editorial department of this journal is led by an experienced editorial team, ensuring that published articles undergo a rigorous peer review process, guaranteeing the quality and rigor of academic research.
